About Colston Bassett

Nestling to the south-east of Nottingham in the Borough of Rushcliffe, Colston Bassett is a picturesque rural village of just over 100 residencies. Either side of the River Smite the rolling countryside is criss-crossed by many paths & bye-ways, offering many interesting places to explore. The isolated ruins of St Mary’s Church, the world-famous and multi-award winning stilton-cheese Colston Bassett Dairy and a warm welcome at The Martins Arms are all within gentle strolling distance of each other, making the village a must-visit destination for walkers & cyclists of all abilities.
