2024 AGAR Papers
Please find attached papers relating to the 2024 CBPC Annual Audit, as discussed and agreed by Full Council on Monday 13 May 2024. These papers are also displayed in hard-copy on the PC Noticeboard adjacent to the Colston Bassett Village Hall. As Noted by Council a small excess of Income over Expenditure was achieved in 2023-24, largely attributable to increased Interest accrual. The potential impact of any reduction in potential interest rates going forward was also noted by Council. The largest difference in the year-on-year accounts was down to a revaluation of the village hall for Insurance purposes and thus a higher total was recorded in the CBPC Asset Register and used for the 2023-4 accounting period.
Parishioners have a legal right to request to inspect theses papers over a period of six weeks that must include the first two weeks in July each year. Initial requests to see any additional paperwork may be directed as per the instructions in the Public Right guidance, with the 2024 Public Inspection period running this year from Monday 10 June 2024 to Friday 19 July 2024 inclusive.
