In line with Local Development Planning and the National Planning Policy Framework, Colston Bassett Parish Council has developed a Neighbourhood Plan to help shape and inform building development across the Parish, and especially within the Village Conservation Area, over the coming years.

The Plan was several years in development and was due for Local Referendum early in 2020, just as the Covid-19 pandemic hit. As a result formal adoption the Plan will be voted on within the Parish during 2021, but in the interim period the Plan has authority as if already “made” and adopted. The final Referendum Version of the Plan, complete with the tracked changes recommended by the Independent Inspector and Rushcliffe Brough Council (who both approved the Plan at the Submission Stage)  can be viewed by tapping on the link below
